About
LeAnn Pearson Capener 2010-current. LeAnn was raised as a cowgirl near the south rim of the Grand Canyon, where she tried to guess tourist's nationalities by what they bought at the local grocery store. Now she calls such activities ethnographic research. She has published her non-fiction stories, poetry, and a play in print and on the web. She holds an M.A. in Anthropology from Northern Illinois University, with an interest in visual cultural studies-- especially subject participation. LeAnn is the mother of four children who know that dinner around the table can turn into a discussion with “too much information”.
LeAnn teaches Anthropology and Sociology including Cultural Diversity in America.
